These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of cleaning services by Oranje Cleaning Services (“Oranje,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By engaging Oranje’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Terms of Agreement

This Agreement becomes effective upon your online acceptance of our terms and conditions for the services and remains in force until terminated by the provisions outlined herein. By accepting these terms, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained legal parental or guardian consent. You also confirm your ability to enter into and comply with the obligations outlined in these Terms of Use.

1.1 Should the Client wish to terminate the Agreement, a written notice of termination must be provided at least thirty (30) days in advance. If notice is given after the 2nd day of any calendar month, termination will be effective at the end of the following calendar month, with the Fee payable until that date, even if services cease earlier.

1.3 Oranje Cleaning Services reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time with immediate effect by providing written notice to the Client via email to the above addresses, under the following circumstances:

1.3.1 Non-settlement of invoices as per the agreed terms and conditions.

1.3.2 Inability of staff to provide the Services.

1.3.3 Changes in laws or regulations preventing the provision of Services.

1.4 Termination by Oranje under clause 1.3 does not waive any sums due to Oranje under this Agreement. After settling all sums owed, Oranje will refund any balance due to the Client within thirty (30) days, after necessary deductions and adjustments.

Fee and Payment Terms  

2.1 Fees are due on the 1st of each current month. Invoices will be sent via email during the last week of the preceding month.

2.2 All Fees are subject to additional bank transfer charges, and any other charges levied by the Company’s bank for cash deposits.

2.3 Oranje reserves the right to suspend all Services to the Client without penalty if the invoice remains unpaid in full by the 1st of each current month.

2.4 Failure to clear payment on one subsequent occasion may result in immediate termination of this Agreement, subject to the Client clearing all outstanding sums.

2.5 Any charges described above shall be payable on demand to Oranje or adjusted against the following month’s invoice, or at the final invoice for the Client, with any refund due to the Client deducted accordingly.

2.6 If the Client chooses to pay in cash to the Staff Member, the payment must be counted and verified by the Staff Member, who will sign a copy of the invoice and provide the date. Failure to follow this process may result in the Client being liable for any shortfall. Oranje will not be liable for any loss of cash not verified and signed for by the Staff Member.

2.7 The Client is responsible for all costs associated with Staff Member access to the property, including replacing damaged keys or access cards. These costs may be charged as a single fee or on a monthly basis, as required, and may include security cards/passes and keys for the building or community.

By signing and returning the Agreement to Oranje before the first cleaning visit, you agree to engage our cleaning services and authorize payment as per instruction. Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension of services.

Payment is due upon completion of the service and can be made via cash, credit card, or direct deposit. For ongoing services, direct deposit payment must be made before the next scheduled service. 

Deposit and Administration Fee 

3.1 Upon signing this Agreement, the Client shall pay a refundable security deposit, as an undated cheque.

3.2 The Deposit will be retained by Oranje and will either be refunded at the end of the Term or adjusted against the final invoice due from the Client.

3.3 Oranje reserves the right to deduct from the Deposit any fees and expenses owed by the Client and not paid promptly.

Oranje Cleaning Services will perform cleaning duties as mutually agreed upon during the booking process. All necessary cleaning products and equipment will be provided by our team.

Customer Responsibilities

4.1 The Client must notify the Company via the email addresses of any requirements for access and security passes to ensure accurate record-keeping.

4.2 It is the Client’s responsibility to define routines and work tasks with the Staff Member. The Company can offer suggestions and guidance if needed.

4.3 The Client must ensure all service charges, maintenance fees, and community fees are paid up to date to avoid hindering Staff Member access. Failure to do so may result in liability for the full Fee during restricted access periods.

4.6 All cleaning equipment, products, and tools necessary for cleaning duties must be provided by the Client at their own expense.

4.7 For full-time Staff Members, the Client must allocate a 1-hour lunch break and provide drinking water and a dedicated rest/bathroom area.

4.8 The Client must ensure the Staff Member understands their duties and provides written instructions, particularly during the first month. The Company may provide suggested worksheets upon request.

4.9 It is the Client’s responsibility to safeguard all valuables, jewelry, and possessions, as the Company and Staff Members are not liable for any damage or loss.

Accident/Injury

In case of breakages or damages, the Client is solely responsible and must be covered by household insurance. The Company and its affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claims, or other liability.

Changes to Service Time or Scope

Any changes to the agreed service must be advised and agreed upon prior to commencement. Additional services may be provided on the same day if time allows, or alternative arrangements can be made.

Complaints

Customers must report any dissatisfaction within 24 hours of completion, and we will strive to resolve the issue promptly. We may offer a partial or full refund or re-supply of the service without charge at our discretion.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and will not share your information with third parties not involved in the service provision unless required by law.
